A video has been circulating on social media that captured the moment a ram meant for the big Sallah celebration fell inside a deep well.
Sunday, June 16th, 2024, is the big Sallah, also known as Eid-il-Kabir, and Muslims worldwide have started buying rams, cows, and goats for the celebration.
However, a video making the rounds online shows a ram falling inside a deep well just a few hours before the Sallah celebration. The video shows some hijab-wearing sisters looking helplessly as the ram their father (Alhaji) bought was found standing alone inside the well.
According to them, they are in big trouble with Alhaji as they don’t know how to explain how the ram ended up inside the deep well. The ram inside the well was seen shouting loudly as it was no longer comfortable in the deep well.
The household, which planned to slaughter the ram for the big Sallah celebration tomorrow, was left with a small goat just a few hours before the celebration.
The video was accompanied with the caption; ” Our ram just jumped into the well.”
