Nigerian Super Eagles player Victor Osimhen has responded online following a call-out by comedian and MC Freedom Atsepoyi, popularly known as Mr Jollof.
Mr Jollof had criticized the Napoli star in a video for blocking him on Instagram after he corrected Osimhen over his online dispute with former Nigerian coach Finidi George.
In his response, Victor Osimhen shared a message on his Instagram story about the side effects of blessings. He stated that blessings often attract jealousy, bitterness, and gossip from others, which led many to speculate that his comments were directed at Mr Jollof. Despite these challenges, Osimhen urged his followers to keep being happy regardless of the negativity that may come their way.
He wrote, “Your blessing comes with side effects. Expect a case of jealous, bitter, gossiping people. But keep your joy regardless.
