Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has urged his fans and followers to pray for renowned music video director TG Omori following the failure of his kidney transplant.
TG Omori, whose real name is ThankGod Omori Jesam, revealed his health struggles online, sharing that his only brother had donated a kidney to him, but unfortunately, the transplant was unsuccessful.
TG Omori disclosed that his kidney failure was caused by the consumption of fake drinks sold at bars, a revelation that has shocked many. The 29-year-old cinematographer’s situation has drawn significant attention on social media, with many users expressing their support and offering comforting words.
Davido, known for his hit song “Unavailable,” joined the wave of support by taking to his X handle (formerly Twitter) to ask for prayers for TG Omori. In a heartfelt post, Davido wrote, “Prayers up for TG,” showing solidarity with the ailing director during this challenging time.
