In a heartfelt video circulating online, a Canada-based Nigerian doctor, identified as @official_doctor_zo, has showered praise on Nigerian activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) for his commendable efforts through his NGO project.
The doctor expressed his admiration for VDM’s work, especially after music mogul Don Jazzy made a massive donation of ₦100 million to support the cause. On October 17, 2024, VeryDarkMan shared his overwhelming joy over the unexpected donation from Don Jazzy, which took him by surprise.
Reacting to this development, the Canada-based medical practitioner voiced his support for VDM’s movement, stating that Nigerians in the Diaspora are proud of him. He believes that individuals like VeryDarkMan are helping to reshape the future of Nigeria. The doctor also highlighted how such initiatives give hope to Nigerians abroad, expressing that it could encourage many to return home to retire, knowing that positive change is happening.
He offered prayers for both Don Jazzy and VeryDarkMan, acknowledging that VDM might face obstacles and opposition from different quarters, including friends and family. Despite potential challenges, the doctor encouraged VDM to remain steadfast in his mission and not to be swayed by negativity, as this is often encountered by those striving to make a difference in Nigeria.
He concluded by stating that although he does not personally know VeryDarkMan, he, along with many Nigerians worldwide, is immensely proud of the activist’s impactful work.
In his words; “VeryDarkMan, We The Nigerians in the Diaspora all over The World are Rooting for you and your NGO, you are one of our Only hope that in the future one day we will come Back home to Nigeria and Retire.”
