Speed Darlington’s lawyer, Stan Alieke, is frustrated and has publicly expressed his concerns about the singer‘s continued detention by the Nigeria Police, despite a high court order granting him bail. In a video posted on Instagram, Alieke criticized the police for disregarding the judicial directive and highlighted the challenges he’s facing in securing his client’s release.
Alieke also mentioned that many Nigerians are unwilling to help Speed Darlington, citing his history of attacking people’s brands and characters. He noted that some people are even saying that Speed Darlington deserves to be detained.
The lawyer further lamented the lack of support from influential figures, contrasting it with a past incident where Burna Boy intervened on Speed Darlington’s behalf. Alieke revealed that during Speed Darlington’s previous arrest, Burna Boy showed up with his team and handed out bundles of cash to the police officers
