Mrs. Abosede Aloba, Mohbad’s mother, has confronted actor Yomi Fabiyi over his allegations that her son Adura knows the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death.
During a press conference in Ikeja, Lagos, Fabiyi claimed that Adura messaged him on Instagram, stating he was aware of the events leading to Mohbad’s death. However, Adura denied the allegations, explaining that the chat was from a friend he had sold his phone to.
Mohbad’s mother defended her son, stating that he would have spoken up if he knew the cause of Mohbad’s death. She accused Fabiyi of attempting to implicate Adura and tarnish his image.
In her words, “Adura is not the one who messaged you about knowing the cause of Mohbad’s death. Adura sold his phone to Damola because he did not have money. It was Damola that messaged him and it is publicly known. I confronted the boy, and he confessed and also apologised.”
“Adura is not the talking type especially since MOH passed away. He is always crying. I thought Yomi Fabiyi was for justice when he first came out. Now I know that he wants to k!ll my son. Nigerians help me beg Yomi Fabiyi to leave my son alone. If Damola does not want his mum to cry over him, let him come out now and tell the world what happened.”
