In Edo State, Nigeria, Kelvin Osamede Izekor allegedly killed his 38-year-old wife, Ugiagbe Osaiyekemwen Success Izekor, just eight months after their wedding.
The incident occurred on February 22, 2025, at their home in Benin City, where Kelvin reportedly struck Success with a hammer during a heated argument.
Witnesses revealed that Kelvin had a history of beating Success due to his hot temper. He was almost lynched by a mob but was rescued and arrested by the police. Unconfirmed reports suggest that Success was four months pregnant at the time of her death.
The couple got married on June 29, 2024, and a wedding video showing them dancing happily has surfaced online, intensifying the public’s shock and sadness over the tragic incident.
