Popular Nigerian TikToker Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, widely known as Peller, has stirred conversations online once again—this time over a bold claim he made during a TikTok live session concerning his girlfriend, Jadrolita.
According to Peller, during a recent live chat session (which also featured music icon Peter Okoye, aka Mr P of the defunct PSquare group), he revealed that Netflix allegedly offered Jadrolita ₦3 billion (about $2 million) for a kissing scene in an upcoming project. However, he claimed that he rejected the offer because it didn’t sit well with him emotionally.
Mr P, appearing surprised by the statement, questioned the authenticity of the amount, asking if it was perhaps ₦3 million and not ₦3 billion, but Peller insisted that the offer was in fact ₦3 billion. He maintained his stance and emphasized that the decision to reject the money was final, as it involved his romantic partner and compromised his principles.
To validate his claim, Peller stated that he has a video clip revealing the details of Netflix’s alleged offer. However, he noted that he would only play the clip on TikTok Live, citing respect for the parties involved and a desire not to leak sensitive material casually.
The statement has sparked a mix of skepticism, curiosity, and debate across social media, with many questioning the realism of the amount mentioned and others praising Peller for standing by his values—even at the cost of a jaw-dropping financial offer.
