Nigerian actress and reality TV star Bamike Olawunmi, popularly known as BamBam, recently stirred conversations online after making a personal and humorous revelation during an interview.
Speaking on a new episode of Pulse Fun Facts, BamBam, who shares two daughters with her husband and fellow BBN alum Teddy A, shared what she described as one of the darndest things her children have ever said to her. She recounted a moment when her daughters unexpectedly walked in on her while she was showering. Upon seeing her, the children immediately exclaimed, “Oh my God Mummy, your bum bum is so big!”
The unexpected comment, according to BamBam, took her by surprise and struck a nerve. She reflected humorously on how children innocently say the most unfiltered things and even remarked that her daughters might have inherited her “heavy backside” genes as they grow older.
This revelation comes in the wake of BamBam’s openness about her body transformation journey. In 2024, she spoke in a YouTube interview titled “Behind The Aesthetics”, where she detailed undergoing multiple cosmetic surgeries including liposuction, mummy makeovers, vaginoplasty, and a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL). The interview, which featured cosmetic surgeon Dr. Dinma, gave fans a deeper look into her physical transformation and the reasons behind it.
Adding to the conversation, a full documentary also surfaced online, showcasing behind-the-scenes moments from her liposuction, BBL, and mummy makeover procedures. This transparency has earned her both praise for her honesty and criticism from some social media users.
BamBam’s recent anecdote has not only humanized her further in the eyes of her fans but also reignited discussions about body image, parenting, and cosmetic surgery in Nigerian entertainment culture.
