Popular Nigerian food critic Opeyemi Famakin has stirred massive reactions online following a recent video where he boldly showcases his luxury perfume collection — and makes some audacious claims in the process.
In the video posted to his official Instagram page, Opeyemi confidently declared:
“No man in Lagos smells better than me. Only maybe someone in Abuja or Kano can try to compete.”
He didn’t stop there — to back up his statement, Opeyemi flaunted an impressive array of perfumes reportedly worth millions of naira, highlighting six specific bottles that he claims cost a total of ₦3.5 million.
His bold display of wealth and scent supremacy has since gone viral, sparking conversations across social media. While some praised his taste and confidence, others saw the move as boastful, especially considering recent tensions with Lagos big boys like Cubana White Lion and Yhemolee, who had earlier branded him “cheap” in a separate context.
Regardless of the backlash or applause, one thing is clear — Opeyemi Famakin knows how to spark conversation and keep his name trending.
Opeyemi Famakin wrote; “Consumerism: Part 3 (No Man In Lagos Smells Better Than Me) I dare you to post your scent collection. Tag me, Lets have fun.”
