Renowned Nigerian singer, professionally known as Portable, recently emphasized in a video that he is not seeking financial assistance from Wizkid.
This declaration by the “Zazoo Zeh” artist comes in the wake of other celebrities composing songs for Wizkid following the singer’s generous gift of N20M to hypeman GOE, who gained fame through the viral ‘Ta Ta Ta’ sensation.
In response to the ongoing discussion, Portable recalled an earlier interview where he advised the Grammy Award Winner to consistently show love to those in the grassroots.
Elaborating further, Portable expressed his desire for collaboration, citing the example of how Olamide collaborates with him. He expressed the wish for Wizkid to provide him with a verse, emphasizing that such a collaboration holds more value to him than a monetary gift of N20M.
Highlighting his established status as an artist, Portable conveyed his ambition to reach greater heights in the industry. He asserted that a verse from Wizkid or Davido would bring more financial success than the N20M he could use to acquire luxurious properties such as a mansion and expensive vehicles.
