A Nigerian lady has caused a stir on social media after sharing a remarkable testimony of how she reportedly passed her Junior WAEC examination with outstanding results, despite not physically participating in most of the papers due to being in a spiritual trance.
The revelation was made by X (formerly Twitter) user @the_girl_IYUN, who responded to a trending thread that asked users to share personal encounters with divine intervention.
According to her post, she had attended a church program the day before her final exam paper and unexpectedly fell into a trance that lasted for seven days. During that time, she claimed to have been spiritually ministering to people who visited her church for prophetic guidance.
Her mother, worried that her daughter would miss the exams entirely, reportedly went to inform the school principal. To her astonishment, she allegedly found her daughter in the exam hall, actively participating in the exams — a scene the family later interpreted as supernatural.
The young lady stated that she had managed to write a few of the exams before entering the trance and that the only paper she missed was the one in which she received a C grade. The other subjects, totaling 14, were reportedly scored with A’s.
Her post has since gone viral, sparking debates across social media platforms. While some hailed the experience as a miracle, others questioned the plausibility of the claim.
Narrating the experience, she wrote:
“JS3 Junior WAEC, I was in church a day before the last paper and I went on a 7-day trance. I was in church attending to people who came for prophecies.”
“Mum went to school to inform my principal, but she saw me sitting in the exam hall writing the exam. She returned to the church and started looking at me strangely.”
“When I came down from the trance and they told me everything, I didn’t believe it — until the results came out. I had 14 A’s and 1 C. The C was in the subject I supposedly didn’t write 😃. That’s when I got the nickname ‘Ghost.’”
The unusual story sparked reactions across social media, with many users flocking to the comment section to express amazement, skepticism, and curiosity.
