Popular reality TV star Tacha Akide has sparked reactions with a recent video in which she claimed that many Nigerians residing in the United Kingdom are struggling financially.
The former Big Brother Naija contestant, who recently relocated to the UK, made the statement while sharing her observations about life abroad.
According to Tacha, contrary to common assumptions, a significant number of people living in Nigeria are doing better financially than many Nigerians in the UK. She added that most of those she has encountered abroad are simply managing to get by and are not as financially stable as they appear.
Her words …
“You see those of you always having inferiority complex in Nigeria, thinking everyone here is rich, most people here are broke. The most broke people I have met are actually the people I met in the UK. Everyone is holding themselves. It is expensive as f$ck.”
Most people in Nigeria are living better off than most people in here”.
