A Nigerian woman has sparked intense reactions online after recounting a deeply uncomfortable experience with a grieving male friend who attempted to initiate intimacy with her shortly after his father’s death.
In a story she shared on social media, the lady explained that her friend had called her in distress, weeping as he informed her about the passing of his father. Driven by concern, she immediately went over to his house to offer support and pay her condolences.
Upon arrival, the scene was understandably somber. She found him still emotionally overwhelmed, speaking with his mother on the phone while his younger sister sat nearby in tears. The atmosphere reflected the weight of fresh grief.
However, according to her account, the visit quickly took an unexpected turn. Despite the mournful state of the household, the friend began making physical advances toward her. She expressed disbelief at the timing and questioned how someone could be in mourning and still have the mind to initiate such behavior.
In her words, “Men hardly cry, so for him to be in that state, it really broke me. He placed his head on my shoulder, and I was just trying to comfort him.”
However, things quickly took an awkward turn.
She revealed that while she was consoling him, he held her “in a very funny way” that made her feel uneasy. When she looked down, she realized he had an erection.

mbasitijesse : This is why we truly need more education on human nature, then the masculine and feminine wiring. 🙏🏽🙂 Wrong as it may sound, that was his way of dealing with grief. It wasn’t about you, even though it may suggest more . We see this happen in Hollywood movies, especially. They are both sad or one is, emotions take over, s*zz, then they ‘wake up’ wondering what happened. This didn’t happen because he doesn’t take his father’s death seriously. If anything, it happened because of it. He would have been profusely regretful and sorry the next day, or would continue to use you as emotional comfort through out the period, if you let him. 🙂 Please, don’t take it ‘seriously’, and show him some mercy / understanding. It is fine to maintain your distance, but you might want to give him a chance to apologise so he doesn’t feel worse during the grieving period. Just mercy. Maintain distance if you will. 🙏🏽 I hope this helps.🌹 #ThePathfinder.
