Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has publicly challenged social media activist Martins Otse, aka VeryDarkMan, to a no-holds-barred street fight as their ongoing feud reaches a boiling point.
The conflict started after Portable slammed VeryDarkMan for constantly criticizing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over Nigeria’s economic woes. He also accused the activist of using the tragic death of late singer Mohbad for clout.
In response, VeryDarkMan dropped a diss track titled ‘Ole’, referencing Portable’s past legal issues, including alleged theft of a tricycle and mobile phones that once led to his arrest.
Portable fired back with his own diss track, but now insists he wants to settle things physically — not in a boxing ring, but in an all-out street fight. In a recent video, the Zazu crooner made it clear that gloves are off.
Portable said …
“People have been tagging me and asking for a boxing match between me and VeryDarkMan. Who will box with that fool? If he wants to fight with me, let him come to the street. I’m a street fighter. I don’t want boxing match because we will be mandated to wear protective gears. But it’s in the streets, you can even fight with planks. I want us to settle this with a street fight not boxing, let’s see who will win.”
