A brilliant Nigerian teenager, Faith Odunsi, has captivated social media users after being crowned the World’s Best Mathematics Student at just 15 years old.
The news gained attention after Nollywood actor Yemi Solade shared a video of her impressive performance on Instagram. In the viral clip, Faith was seen solving difficult math problems faster than the questions were even read out, leaving both the audience and judges in awe.
Representing Nigeria, she outperformed contestants from the United States 🇺🇸, United Kingdom 🇬🇧, China 🇨🇳, and several other nations, clinching the prestigious title and shining a global spotlight on her home country.
What’s more impressive is that Faith achieved this without studying abroad. She is a graduate of The Ambassadors Schools in Ota, one of Nigeria’s top-ranking and most expensive secondary schools.
Her incredible win has not only brought pride to the nation but has also sparked discussions around the potential of Nigerian students when given quality education and proper support.
