A touching video featuring the renowned Nigerian Gospel singer, Yinka Ayefele, and his children has surfaced online.
In the video, Ayefele’s 4-year-old triplets inquire why their father is unable to stand. It is worth recalling that Yinka Ayefele, the CEO of Fresh FM, experienced a life-altering car accident on December 12th, 1997, exactly 26 years ago, which resulted in him being confined to a wheelchair.
Despite this challenge, Yinka Ayefele and his wife Temitope welcomed triplets on January 18th, 2019, in the USA, marking the end of a 25-year period of childlessness.
In the video, one of the triplets named Richard earnestly asks his father why he can’t stand again. In response, Ayefele, attempting to contain his emotions, shares that the children frequently pose this question, expressing their desire for him to stand up. He gently explains to them that he had a motor accident, providing insight into the reason for his current condition.
Captioning the video, Yinka Ayefele wrote; “THEY ALWAYS WANT ME TO STAND UP…AND THEY KEPT ASKING ME WHY EVERY DAY EVEN UP TILL LAST NIGHT…I TRIED HARD NOT TO BE EMOTIONAL..INDEED IT WAS MY TURNING POINT. 12/12/1997. :TO GOD BE THE GLORY.”
