In a recent video that has emerged online, singer Lil Frosh is seen appealing to Nigerians to help him request a second chance from Davido.
This comes after DMW boss Davido terminated Lil Frosh’s contract on October 20, 2020, following allegations of domestic violence.
Lil Frosh had been accused of physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Gift Camille, leading to visible injuries on her face and forehead. In the video, Lil Frosh expresses remorse and seeks forgiveness as he pleads for another opportunity from Davido.
In a recently surfaced video on January 27, 2024, Lil Frosh continues to defend himself, asserting his innocence in the domestic violence allegations. He claims that he never physically harmed his ex-girlfriend and provides context to an incident in April 2020.
Lil Frosh explains that the issue arose when his ex-girlfriend disrespected his mother in his presence. This led to a confrontation where he admits to slapping her. He emphasizes that he subsequently apologized for his actions. The video serves as an attempt by Lil Frosh to provide his side of the story and clarify the circumstances surrounding the allegations.
In the video, Lil Frosh elaborates on his side of the story, revealing that he personally begged his ex-girlfriend physically and later through WhatsApp. Unaware that she had kept records of his messages pleading with her, Lil Frosh shares that after five months, his ex-girlfriend faced health issues, and he took it upon himself to personally treat her for two days before she decided to leave.
According to Lil Frosh, seven days later, his ex-girlfriend’s family came forward with fabricated photos, accusing him of assaulting her. He expresses the negative impact this has had on his music career, stating that his reputation has suffered, and he is finding it challenging to secure collaborations. In a plea to the public, Lil Frosh asks Nigerians to help him seek forgiveness from his former record label owner, Davido, in hopes of receiving a second chance and reviving his music career.
