Danielle Edochie, the first child and only daughter of actor Yul Edochie, has officially distanced herself from her father by removing all traces of their association online.
In a recent development circulating online, the 18-year-old Danielle has erased her father’s name from her official Instagram page. This move follows her previous headline-making decision in May 2023 when she changed her surname from Edochie to ‘Dubem’ on her Instagram page, though she still retained the Edochie surname in her username.
Danielle’s action seems to be a response to the recent public display of affection and dramatic videos featuring Yul Edochie and his second wife, Judy Austin, despite the passing of Danielle’s brother, Kambilichukwu Edochie. To emphasize her disassociation, Danielle has not only changed her surname but also removed her father’s name from her username. Her Instagram name now reads Diana Danielle Dubem, while her username is d3forareason.
