Popular Nigerian disc jockey and billionaire daughter Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, known as DJ Cuppy, has made a comeback to music after a four-year absence.
DJ Cuppy shared a snippet of her upcoming song on her verified Instagram page today, March 21st, 2024, announcing that the full song will be released tomorrow, March 22nd, 2024.
In December 2023, DJ Cuppy had appealed to her fans and followers for patience regarding their expectations about her music. She mentioned that she was focused on perfecting her music and wanted to ensure that she got it right before making her return.
In her words; “I posted something the other day which is so true I promised my fans I would drop music this year, it’s been almost 4 years since my debut and album, so let me say it again God’s timing is the best, even if it doesn’t align with your ego. I want to make sure I get the music right and at 30 I feel like I have another purpose shot. I have small energy, so be patient with me. God’s timing is the best EVEN if it does NOT align with your ego.”
Over the years, DJ Cuppy has been known for some hit songs including, “Gelato” featuring Zlatan Ibile, “Jollof on the jet” featuring Rema, Rayvanny and some other tracks including, Karma, Litty Lit, Abena, Karma and others.
According to DJ Cuppy the new song featuring Wyclef Jean will be released on Friday, March 22nd, 2023.
