Peruzzi, the Nigerian singer and songwriter, has criticized his senior colleague Wizkid following Wizkid’s post about Davido’s viral video.
Wizkid had shared a video of Davido pleading with an American model, prompting a fan to ask Wizkid to release a new song.
Wizkid responded with a question, “Na by Force?” which stirred reactions online, with one user calling Wizkid “biggest bird.” In response, Wizkid suggested that the fan recreate Davido’s video as a condition for him to release a new song.
This exchange led to backlash against Wizkid, with social media users and fans throwing shades at him. Some even shared a throwback video of Wizkid dancing awkwardly at a concert.
Peruzzi, a member of Davido’s 30BG record label, expressed his disapproval of Wizkid’s post on Twitter, referring to Wizkid as a “mad person.”
He wrote, “Lizard don mad again”.
However, a user attacked him for his intervention between Wizkid and his boss, Davido. @don_marrtyynz said, “Where Lions dey fight. You sev wan feel among 😂😂”.
