Renowned Nigerian activist VeryDarkMan, also known as VDM, has strongly criticized Wizkid for his remarks about Don Jazzy, labeling him as an influencer and questioning his manners.
Wizkid recently stirred up controversies online with subtle jabs at singer Davido and music mogul Don Jazzy. While some reactions focused on his comments about Davido, many netizens expressed significant disapproval of Wizkid referring to Don Jazzy as an influencer, considering Don Jazzy’s extensive experience of over 20 years in the music industry.
The situation escalated when Wizkid shaded Don Jazzy following a remark made by his signee Ladipoe about “Hip-Hop is dead.” VDM reacted strongly to this, condemning Wizkid for disrespecting Don Jazzy and asserting that Wizkid can never match Don Jazzy’s level of influence and achievement.
VDM emphasized Don Jazzy’s contributions to the music industry, highlighting his role in nurturing talents like Tiwa Savage, D’banj, Rema, Wande Coal, and others. He also pointed out Don Jazzy’s pioneering effort in international collaborations within Nigeria, a milestone achieved long before Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy rose to prominence.

“Even if Wizkid’s fans see that what Wizkid id doing is wrong they will keep supporting him, No Matter How Big Wizkid Is, He Can Never Be On Don Jazzy’s Level, Don Jazzy has been in the Game for over 20years he is the Jay Z of the Music Industry, Don Jazzy has made Mega stars Like Rema, Ayra Starr, Tiwa Savage, Wande Coal, Dbanj, etc with legendary status, Don Jazzy did the first ever International Collaboration in Nigeria when wizkid, Davido and Burnaboy were all smallies”

In another video, VeryDarkMan dares Wizkid FC to bring down his IG account within 24 hours after being threatened by the singer fan base.
He said; “Wizkid FC Said if I talk about their Popsy again they will Report my Ig account till Instagram takes it down, Wizkid is very Disrespectful, and he has not even impacted positively on anybody in Nigeria, I Give you Wizkid FC 24hours to bring down my Ig account or else I will confirm that the entire FC Fan Base no get level.”
