BBNaija ex-housemate Doyinsola David, popularly known as Doyin, faced criticism online after a new video of her on the Channel’s TV show “Morning Brief” circulated on the internet.
In the video, Doyin mentioned that she wouldn’t date a man living on the Lagos Mainland because she resides on the Island. When asked about the number of years a president serves in his first term, she responded with 4 years.
Further questions about the Inspector General of Police (IGP) in Nigeria led to her admitting she didn’t know his name, which is Kayode Egbetokun. Doyin also expressed ignorance about Nigeria’s Nobel Laureate winner.
Facing criticism, she defended herself by emphasizing her expertise in Radiology and questioning the relevance of the questions outside the entertainment industry. Eventually, the presenters described the Nobel Laureate winner from Nigeria, and Doyin recalled the name Wole Soyinka.
