Following his release on N10 million bail by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Cubana Chief Priest has spoken out.
Today, April 17th, 2024, Cubana Chief Priest appeared before Justice Kehinde Ogundare of the Federal High Court, Lagos, where he was granted bail.
The EFCC had charged him for alleged Naira spraying and tampering during events at Eko Hotel in February 13th, 2024, a Lagos event in January 2024, and another event in 2020.
During the court proceedings, Cubana Chief Priest’s lawyer, Chukosolo Ojukwu, contested the charges and applied for bail, which was granted at N10 million, despite his earlier plea of guilt.
Following his release, Cubana Chief Priest took to his verified Instagram page to express gratitude to his fans and followers, acknowledging their messages and love, which humbled him.
He further asserted his status after being released by the EFCC shortly after arriving at court, implying that he’s not insignificant and that money flows easily on his side.
Cubana Chiefpriest wrote; “Seeing All You Messages & Love I’m So Humbled. Now It’s Confirmed CP No Small. Money💸 Na Water💦.”
