Renowned Nigerian comedian AY has taken to social media to publicly apologize to singer Davido for a remark he made about his manh**d.
As previously reported by FLvibe, during a performance at the Warri Again festival, AY made an ill-received comment about Davido’s private anatomy. He joked that despite having a larger manh**d than Davido, he had been unable to impregnate women for 13 years, unlike the singer.
However, the video of AY Makun making fun of Davido’s ml* organ received significant backlash from the public.
In a U-turn on his official Instagram page, AY Makun expressed remorse for the poorly delivered joke in Warri, stating, “I shouldn’t even call it a joke anymore.” He acknowledged that the humor didn’t land well and wasn’t funny as it had been during his tour of the US and Canada. AY further recognized that Davido had every right to be upset, especially considering how the media had exploited the incident.
He concluded by taking full responsibility for the poorly executed joke and expressed his love for Davido, addressing him as “my Aburo” (a term of endearment) and affirming his status as a devoted fan of the singer.
