Nigerian disc jockey Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, professionally known as DJ Cuppy, expresses her joy as her father, billionaire Femi Otedola, secures the 20th position on Forbes’s list of the top 20 richest individuals in Africa.

Forbes maintains Aliko Dangote at the pinnacle as the wealthiest person in Africa. The ranking indicates that the combined wealth of these 20 billionaires has risen to $82.4 billion, showing an increase of $900 million from the $81.5 billion recorded in 2023.

Among the listed billionaires, South Africa claims six positions, closely followed by Egypt with five, and Nigeria securing four spots. Additionally, Algeria, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe each have one representative on the list, while Morocco boasts two billionaires in this prestigious ranking.

Taking to the comment section of the post, DJ Cuppy who is clearly excited celebrates his father’s latest achievement and also hailed her acclaimed “God Father” Dangote.

  • Femi Otedola is a Nigeria billionaire who made his first fortune in commodities before selling his shares in Forte Oil to invest in the energy business.
  • Otedola is chairman of Geregu Power, a power generation business, and owns more than 70% of the shares.
