Nollywood actress Regina Daniels recently stirred reactions online with a candid revelation about how she met her husband, politician Ned Nwoko.
In a live session with her fans, the 24-year-old actress shared that her marriage to the 63-year-old businessman came as a surprise, initially causing friction within her family.
Regina explained that her mother, Rita Daniels, along with other family members, initially opposed the union due to the significant age difference. However, their relationship prevailed, and the couple got married on May 26, 2019, in Delta State’s Aniocha Local Government Area. They now have two sons together.
Recalling their first encounter, Regina revealed that she met Ned when she accompanied someone visiting their boyfriend. She described finding him “cute” from the beginning, which sparked their relationship. Her story has since drawn a mix of admiration and curiosity from fans, who are intrigued by the unconventional start to their love story.
She then offered advice to her online community, saying, “Don’t let your boyfriend keep you from meeting your husband.”
