Eedris Abdulkareem slams Burna Boy for wishing him dead, set to release a song dubbed “Essay to Burnaboy”

Renowned musician Eedris Abdulkareem has penned an open letter directed at his fellow artist Burna Boy, expressing his disappointment over Burna Boy‘s expressed desire for his demise.

On February 17th, 2024, Eedris Abdulkareem, known for his hit “Jaga Jaga,” criticized Burna Boy for claiming that no one assisted him in Nigeria, dismissing it as “stupid talk.”

In response, Grammy Award winner Burna Boy took to his verified X page to retaliate, mocking Eedris Abdulkareem’s kidney problems and blaming those who contributed money for his recovery.

Expressing sorrow and disillusionment, Abdulkareem condemned Burna Boy’s actions, particularly ridiculing his health challenges and demeaning those who supported his recovery, deeming such conduct profoundly disgraceful.

Abdulkareem denounced the act of threatening his life, highlighting the inappropriateness of feigning divine power as a form of humor.

He announced his intention to address Burna Boy through his art, indicating an upcoming song dedicated to the situation.

He wrote; “ESSAY TO BURNA BOY” FOR WISHING ME DEAD

Wishing me or any other person dead is truly saddening and very disappointing.
Making fun of my health crisis and blaming people that helped to keep me alive is very shameful.
Threatening my life is a different ball game, but for you to play God? Thats the most nauseating foul prank of all times.

Now, conscientious Nigerians and the general public are weighing into the matter and you instantly deleted your demonic prayers for me.

I’ll reply through the only medium that i have…and that is music; so I will be dropping my heartfet response via a single aptly named “Essay to Burnaboy” in a fortnight.

Stay tuned for that because
“No man be GOD”
