A video circulating on social media shows controversial actress Tonto Dikeh engaging in a physical altercation with a car dealer after he asked her to pay a debt of over seven months.
This video surfaced online just days after Tonto Dikeh faced heavy criticism from netizens for supporting President Tinubu’s administration amid the ongoing #EndBadGovernance nationwide protests.
According to trending information, the fight between Tonto Dikeh and the car dealer occurred on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at the car dealer’s office when he asked her to pay the remaining sum of N2 million she owed him.
Seven months ago, Tonto Dikeh expressed interest in buying a Mikano automobile worth N90 million from an Abuja car dealer. However, she found the price too high and preferred to pay in installments, a move the Mikano company initially rejected.
Due to his relationship with Mikano, the car dealer secured a discount and purchased the car for N86 million, agreeing to sell it to Tonto Dikeh with the condition that she would pay in installments over three months.
Tonto Dikeh began by paying N30 million. After the three months elapsed, she paid another N20 million and continued paying smaller amounts until only N2 million remained.
The car dealer later agreed to service the car for Tonto Dikeh but insisted she pay the remaining N2 million. This demand led to Tonto Dikeh storming the car dealer’s office and engaging in a violent confrontation, during which she was seen fighting the man and causing damage to the office.
Despite efforts from the car dealer’s staff to calm the situation, their pleas were unsuccessful.
