Ogunseyi Similoluwa, sister of Olori Naomi, has debunked rumors suggesting the ex-queen’s release from Agodi prison. The rumors claimed that Olori Naomi, along with Hamzat Oriyomi and others, had been released following their arrest in connection with the Ibadan tragedy that claimed 35 lives.
Similoluwa took to her Instagram story to clarify that the reports of their release were false. She wrote: “It’s a lie from the pit of hell. Please disregard it. They are still very much in Agodi Correctional Center.”
A similar update was posted on Olori Naomi’s Instagram story, stating that the rumors of her release were untrue. The statement reaffirms that those arrested remain in custody as investigations into the tragedy continue.
