A viral video has surfaced online showing a woman identified as Olufunmilayo Abiodun Obasanjo accusing former Nigerian president Olusegun Obasanjo of abandoning her and their children.
In the emotional clip, the elderly woman claimed she was in a relationship with Obasanjo for 20 years, during which she became pregnant and gave birth to a set of twins.
Now partially paralyzed after suffering a stroke, she alleged that the former president has never supported the children financially or emotionally. She said she single-handedly raised the twins from primary school through higher education, without any assistance from him.
Tearfully recounting her experience, Olufunmilayo described herself as being treated like a “local sperm collection bowl,” stating that Obasanjo insisted she keep the pregnancy. She also mentioned that she already had a child by another man before having the twins for the former president.
She further alleged that after leaving him for four years, she was shocked to give birth to twins, and said Obasanjo sent her ₦25,000 on two occasions to silence her. According to her, members of the Obasanjo family, including his other children, are aware of her identity and her history with the former leader.
