Big Brother Naija reality star Doyinsola David has made it clear that she has a geographical preference when it comes to dating, stating that she cannot be in a relationship with a man residing on Lagos Mainland.

During a recent episode of the Channels Television program “Rubbin’ Minds,” Doyinsola expressed her criteria for a potential partner, emphasizing kindness and financial stability. However, she specifically mentioned that the person must reside on the upscale Lagos Island.

Doyinsola clarified that it’s not a dislike for the mainland but a practical choice since her businesses and connections are predominantly on the island. She asserted that her ideal partner should be willing to make adjustments for the sake of their relationship.

Furthermore, the reality star highlighted her desire for her children to have a global exposure, aiming for them to travel around the world. Specifically focusing on her daughter, Doyinsola emphasized her intention to provide the best for her, aiming to instill values that discourage dating for material gain and ensuring her child has a life of comfort, similar to the upbringing she received from her parents.

The All star housemate said, “He [my potential partner] must be someone that is considerate, kind, and giving because I’m not about that broke life. That’s just the truth.”

“I don’t live on the Mainland. If I’m going to date you, you will have to move to the Island. Because that is what I am used to. It’s also closer to everything I do. He would move to the Island, I’m not going to move to the Mainland. If he really wants somebody who would live on the Mainland, he can find another wife.”

“It would be strange for me to pack up my whole life and relocate to the Mainland”.
