Renowned Nigerian singer David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, took to social media to express his excitement in response to Rihanna declaring his hit song “Unavailable” as her song of the year.
In a recent interview with Complex, Barbadian-American singer Rihanna, a mother of two, generated buzz across social media by selecting Davido’s song “Unavailable,” featuring Musa Keys, as her favorite for the year. Rihanna not only deemed it her song of the year but emphasized that the nostalgic track has been on constant repeat.
On December 20th, 2023, a video surfaced of Rihanna unknowingly participating in the “Unavailable” dance challenge at an event for her fashion brand, Fenty, The Creeper. The billionaire singer effortlessly executed the dance moves alongside her partner, A$AP Rocky, and members of the Fenty team.
Upon seeing this fresh video where Rihanna reaffirms her admiration for his song, Davido couldn’t contain his excitement, marking the beginning of his joyful response to the international recognition.
He reacted to the video by referring to himself as a winner.
He said; “Nah me win.”
