Grammy Award winner Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, professionally known as Burna Boy, recently shared his perspective on why he doesn’t participate in online giveaways.
During an Instagram live session with his fans and followers, Burna Boy expressed that he views engaging in giveaways online as a form of seeking attention or clout.
He made this statement while traveling back to Nigeria from Paris in his private jet, accompanied by his family and crew members.
In contrast to some of his peers like Davido and Don Jazzy, who often conduct giveaways online, Burna Boy stated his reluctance to partake in such activities.
According to Burna Boy, he believes that the people who truly deserve giveaways are not active on Instagram or social media. He emphasized that these individuals, who are not online, are the ones who really matter and deserve such gestures.
In his words; “I don’t like all these Instagram giveaways, I do giveaway to places that really matters, to people that really need it and most of them aren’t on the internet.”
