Nigerian man in tears after using his mother’s N8 million savings to play Sporty bet and loses all ticket

A young man has reached out on social media, seeking help after losing his mother’s entire savings of N8 million on sports betting.

The man, whose name has not been revealed, apparently used his mother’s substantial savings hoping to make big profits, but instead faced significant losses.

This information surfaced when an influencer named Shola shared the man’s plea for help on social media.

In addition to sharing the appeal, Shola also provided evidence of the considerable losses suffered by the young man.

“8M gone like that and it’s not even his money. Y’all better slow down on this bet addiction,” Shola caption reads.

According to the evidence shared by Shola, the man initially experienced a stroke of luck, managing to secure winnings amounting to N2.1 million.

However, his brief success didn’t last long. His following bets led to continuous losses, eventually resulting in the complete depletion of the entire N8 million stake.
