Veteran Nigerian singer, 2Face Idibia, has issued a heartfelt apology following the backlash that trailed his recent controversial statement about men and monogamy.
In a previous interview, the “African Queen” crooner claimed that men are not biologically built to stay with just one woman, sparking widespread criticism.
He further stated that a man can love his partner deeply but still find himself being intimate with other women.
However, in a new video making the rounds, 2Face sincerely apologized to his fans, wife, children, and loved ones for his remarks, noting that his intention was never to hurt or disrespect anyone.
He partly said …
“I know I f.c#ked up with what I said and I know I’m going to get cancelled because of it. I apologise to my fans and most importantly, my wife, the love of my life, Natasha and also my kids. I’m terribly sorry. That’s not who I am”
