The revelation came to light during an interview with content creator Kuye Adegoke, also known as Egungun of Lagos. Mandy Kiss, who was known for her fervent admiration of Naira Marley, explained that the tattoo had become a hindrance in her romantic relationships. She disclosed losing three boyfriends who disliked the tattoo.
In response to Egungun of Lagos’s inquiry about the tattoo, Mandy Kiss expressed her desire not to do anything that might tarnish her image in the future, prompting her decision to replace the tattoo with a flower design. She emphasized that her online persona is distinct from her real-life personality.
Mandy Kiss acknowledged receiving significant backlash from online users, whom she described as hypocritical. Despite this, she asserted that her online presence is primarily for entertainment purposes, and she remains undeterred by criticism.
