Famous Tanzanian singer Juma Jux has revealed that his wife, Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo, has converted from Christianity to Islam.
The announcement has sparked discussions online, with many expressing curiosity about her spiritual journey.
According to Juma Jux, the decision was not sudden but came after a gradual process of learning and reflection. He explained that religious leaders were involved from the beginning, offering guidance on how to approach the matter with patience and respect.
He noted that through their support and teachings, Priscilla gained a deeper understanding of Islam, which eventually led to her choosing to embrace the faith. Her conversion has since drawn mixed reactions, with many praising her for making a personal and thoughtful decision.
The singer said; “I knew everything when it came to my wedding. I had a dream about it, I was so lucky to find someone who wants the same thing as I. It was a little difficult convincing my wife to become a muslim. On the other hand, I was receiving lessons from religious leaders, so there was a way that they were teaching me about how to convince her, and with time, she understood.”
