Concerns are growing among fans of Afrobeats sensation Wizkid regarding his mental well-being, particularly after he recently added a leg tattoo just days following the inking on his neck that occurred after the burial of his late mother.
Despite the solemnity surrounding his mother’s burial, Wizkid has been seen enjoying himself in Lagos. Notably, he obtained a tattoo around his neck, rumored to cost around $10,000, approximately N10 million in Nigerian currency.
More recently, a video surfaced showing Wizkid getting an additional tattoo on his leg, amplifying worries among online users.
Expressing their apprehensions, a fan named Olamide on the popular microblogging platform, X (formerly Twitter), wrote: “I don’t want to be that guy but I hope Wizkid is fine mentally. The way he keeps getting new tattoos reminds me of a video where Olamide said when he lost his parents, he’s doing a lot of weird things & people thought it’s a norm but deep down he wasn’t okay; he was still grieving.”
