Controversial TikToker DJ Chicken has issued an apology to Grammy Award winner Wizkid after facing backlash for making insensitive remarks about the singer.
DJ Chicken had previously stated that Wizkid’s music career was finished and predicted that he would soon join his late mother in the afterlife.
Facing criticism, DJ Chicken apologized to Wizkid, acknowledging his wrongdoing and asking for forgiveness. This apology followed the suspension of his TikTok pages, including a new one he created after the original was taken down.
In his words, “Machala, no vex; na love dey there. My fans, you’re ruining my mood, you all will be unfortunate. I am not fighting with Wizkid; can I even dare? We are all in the industry. You are reporting my account. I am your joy giver and I can take away that joy. What’s your own?”
DJ Chicken concluded the said apology by playing Wizkid’s song despite ridiculing it as thrash in his earlier videos.
