A new video has surfaced online where Joseph Aloba, the father of late singer Mohbad cries bitterly after the late singer’s wife Wunmi accused him of requesting for her son’s placenta.
Testifying before Lagos coroner inquest on November 7th 2023, Wunmi said she used to have a good relationship with Mohbad’s dad before she gave birth to her son Liam.
She said her relationship with Mohbad’s father was strained because she refused to give him her son, Liam’s placenta.
According to her, she only supported Mohbad in this decision and it led to a series of arguments.
She said; “I used to have a very good relationship with my father-in-law before the birth of my son, Liam. In fact, I used to invite him to our house on many occasions.
“But because Mohbad was angry with him over some of the things he was doing and his refusal to hold our son’s naming ceremony in Ikorodu, he became angry with me, thinking I was the one behind it all.
“So he became my enemy and was not talking to me like before.”
However, reacting to the accusation leveled against him by his late son’s wife, the father expressed utmost displeasure.
He added that he did not nothing bad in asking for his late son’s child child and God will judge Wunmi for reporting him around.
Using his singing skills to respond to Wunmi as he cries bitterly, Mohbad dad said; “God Please Have Mercy on me. They said I asked for the placenta of my own grandson. What did I do bad? Why are they reporting me around? Adabi will judge between us.”
