Popular Nigerian Afrobeat star David Adeleke, famously known as Davido, has once again captured widespread attention on social media for his admirable generosity. The singer recently made headlines by gifting a Ghanaian TikToker named Ananzo a substantial sum of $5,000 (approximately ₦8 million). This kind gesture was a token of appreciation for Ananzo’s creative use of Davido’s song “With You”, which features fellow Nigerian artist Omah Lay.
Ananzo, who works at a car wash, shared a video on TikTok and other social media platforms where he was seen performing a lively cover and dancing to “With You” while on duty. The authenticity and enthusiasm in the video caught the attention of fans—and ultimately Davido himself.
The song in question, “With You”, is one of the standout tracks from Davido’s recently released 5th studio album titled 5ive. The album contains seventeen (17) tracks in total. Since its release, “With You” has resonated strongly with listeners, becoming a fan favorite and consistently ranking number one on the Nigerian Apple Music chart.

Reacting, Davido who was captured by the video promises him $5k and by extension tells the TikToker to reach out to his aide via the link he provided.
