A dramatic scene unfolded recently after a Nigerian man mistakenly sent ₦1 million instead of ₦100,000 as a donation to a church, only to be told by the pastor that the money was “non-refundable.”
According to eyewitness reports, the man had intended to support the church with ₦100K but erroneously added an extra zero while making the transfer, sending ₦1 million instead. Realizing his mistake almost immediately, he approached the church leadership to request a refund of the excess ₦900K.
However, the pastor allegedly declined the request, insisting that “money given to Jesus is non-refundable.”
Shocked and frustrated by the response, the man didn’t hesitate to involve the police, leading to an unexpected visit to the church by law enforcement officers.
Videos from the scene, now making rounds on social media, show a heated exchange between the man, the pastor, and police officers. Congregants could be seen looking on in disbelief as the man demanded justice and accountability from the church.
