‘N100 Million For What?’- Destiny Etiko Tackles Kidnappers Who Is Holding Cynthia Okereke And Clemson Cornell Hostage

Nollywood actress Destiny Etiko has responded to the enormous ransom demand made by the unidentified gunmen that kidnapped her colleagues, Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel, alias Agbogidi.

According to earlier reports, the kidnappers demanded $100,000 in exchange for the release of the hostages.

After the victims were reported missing for around 24 hours, the kidnappers apparently got in touch with their families.

Before they were reported missing, the pair is claimed to have left on a shooting assignment.

“N100 million for what? In this hardship? Do you people think we have that kind of money?” She asked rhetorically.

It is claimed that this unpleasant development has confused the acting community and made it difficult for them to raise the money necessary for their release.

Emeka Rollas, president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, acknowledged that contact had been made with the families and said that the guild is coordinating with the appropriate security organizations to ensure a safe return.
