Popular Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade Asake, known as Asake, has caused a stir on social media with recent actions on his verified Instagram page.
Asake, known for his hit song “Only Me,” unfollowed his boss Olamide and everyone else on his Instagram page, which has 4.9 million followers. Additionally, he deleted all photos and videos on his Instagram profile, leaving his page with no posts.
It’s worth noting that Olamide signed Asake to his record label YBNL in February 2022, contributing to Asake’s rise as an established artist in the music industry. Over the past two years, Asake has released two successful albums titled “Mr Money with the Vibe” in 2022 and “Work of Art” in 2023.
In 2023, Asake further solidified his presence by performing at the 20,000-capacity O2 Arena, putting Nigeria on the global music map.
Despite his significant success, Asake’s recent actions of unfollowing his boss Olamide, as well as other prominent figures like Davido and Wizkid, and wiping his Instagram page clean, have sparked various reactions online.
However, he left a profile picture that reads; “What the fvck is really going on.”
