Comfort Emmanson, the viral passenger at the center of the Ibom Air flight altercation, has received a fresh wave of support after a businessman offered her an iPhone 16 Pro Max along with a four-year brand ambassador contract.
This comes shortly after Ossai Ovie Success, Special Adviser to the Delta State Governor, and businessman Francis Van-Lare pledged to sponsor her on an all-expenses-paid trip to Qatar and Turkey.
The latest announcement was made by a businessman identified as Oga Uby on Facebook. He revealed that the new iPhone is intended to replace Comfort’s phone, which was reportedly damaged during the widely circulated incident. In addition, she will serve as a brand ambassador for Tubex Logistics Services for the next four years.
Comfort Emmanson became a household name after a video showing her heated altercation with Ibom Air crew members and security officials went viral. She was subsequently arrested and remanded at Kirikiri Correctional Center but was later discharged after police confirmed that both the complainant and the airline had withdrawn interest in the case.
This new wave of goodwill gestures signals a dramatic turn in her fortunes, transforming her from a controversial figure into a personality now receiving corporate and individual backing.
