Omowunmi, the wife of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad, continues to mourn his passing, which occurred on September 12, 2023. Mohbad’s untimely death at the age of 27 left deep wounds in the hearts of his wife and their son, Liam.
After his death, there were controversies surrounding the circumstances, leading to police investigations and the exhumation of Mohbad’s body on September 21, 2023. A post-mortem examination was conducted, with the results scheduled to be released within three to four weeks.
The aftermath of Mohbad’s passing saw various allegations emerge, including doubts about Liam’s paternity, prompting calls for a DNA test to clarify the situation.
In a recent update, Omowunmi shared on her Instagram story the pain she is enduring, stating that nobody should go through what she is experiencing. She expressed her grief over Mohbad’s absence as Liam approaches a year without his father, highlighting how much she misses her ‘baby’ and the immense pain she feels.
She wrote, “No female deserves to go through this, has I don’t wish this pain on my enemy. Liam will clock 1 year in few weeks without dad”.
