Nollywood Mourns the Loss of Veteran Actor Charles Olumo “Agbako” at 101

The Nigerian entertainment industry is mourning the loss of veteran actor Charles Olumo, fondly known as Agbako, who passed away at the remarkable age of 101. Born on February 25, 1923, Olumo’s illustrious career spanned decades, leaving an indelible mark on Nollywood. His remarkable life was marked by notable milestones, including showcasing his boxing skills at 99 and receiving a grand birthday celebration from TAMPAN.

Olumo’s passing was announced by fellow actor Mr. Latin, who paid tribute to the legendary actor, saying “Good night, father… 25/02/1923 to 31/10/2024.” Actor Kunle Afod also paid his respects, saying “Good night, Pa Charles Olumo (Baba Agbako). The oldest actor. 101 years. Sun re ooo.” Olumo’s legacy will be remembered for generations to come.
