Chinedu Ikedieze, the renowned Nollywood star affectionately known as Aki, was overwhelmed with joy when pleasantly surprised by his fellow actors on his 46th birthday.
On December 12, as the seasoned actor celebrated his birthday, he took to his Instagram page to share a video expressing gratitude for the delightful surprise orchestrated by his colleagues. Aki, who was busy filming a movie in Asaba at the time, found himself still in bed as a group of his peers entered his hotel room to celebrate the occasion. They brought along a saxophonist, a cake, money, and other tokens of appreciation.
Caught off guard by the unexpected visit, the seasoned actor lifted his head to discover the surprise guests who had entered his hotel room unannounced. His initial surprise shifted to gratitude, clearly visible on his face. Eventually, he joined them in singing praise worship, accompanied by the melodic tunes of the saxophonist.
In his Instagram post, Aki expressed heartfelt gratitude to Blessing Patrick and Gomes Production, the producers of the movie set where he was working, for showering him with love on his special day. He also extended his thanks to the hotel management for accommodating the surprise visit from the cast and crew of the movie.
