Founder and head prophet of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry (CMDM) in Delta State, Pastor Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, has generously supported the bereaved family of the late Nollywood actor Mr. Ibu with a substantial donation.

Reports circulating online indicate that Pastor Fufeyin donated N5 million to assist with Mr. Ibu’s burial, which is scheduled to begin on June 25. The family of the deceased recently announced the burial arrangements on April 13.

According to the family, the funeral service will span five days and take place in Mr. Ibu’s hometown of Amuri, located in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State. The ceremony will commence on Tuesday, June 25, with a high-profile novelty match. On Wednesday, June 26, there will be an event called Mr. Ibu’s Night, featuring a candlelight procession and live entertainment.

On June 27, a Christian wake will be held at his compound in Eziokwe Amuri, followed by the funeral service on June 28. The five-day burial ceremony will conclude on Sunday, June 30, with a Church Thanksgiving attended by family members, friends, and well-wishers.

Ahead of the burial service, Pastor Fufeyin announced in his church that he donated N2 million directly to Mr. Ibu’s family and N3 million towards the burial arrangements. This announcement came after Mr. Ibu’s friends and associates, including the Actors Guild of Nigeria, sought the support of Pastor Fufeyin.
